We’ve mentioned the Time Collection before, but do you know how to use it to maximize your day? We carefully chose teas and tisanes to fill each of our Time slots, and each one is there for a reason. By following this thoughtful (and delicious!) schedule of teas and tisanes, you can give yourself caffeine boosts when needed and help yourself relax as your day comes to a close.
Wake Up in the Morning
If you go to grab coffee as soon as you wake up, you’re not alone. While tea is the most popular hot beverage in the world, coffee is king in the United States and parts of Europe. If you’re looking to make the jump from coffee to tea, the 6:00 AM tea is the perfect starting point. With its robust, malty flavors, this black tea will be a welcome substitute from your black coffee. Black teas can be steeped longer, so you’ll get a bit more caffeine out of it, too!
From there, heighten your focus and brighten your senses with one of Oprah’s favorite teas. Our 9:00 AM tea is green tea twist on the classic Earl Grey. Its notes of bergamot are crisp and clean, just like your mind before a hectic day of work.
Survive Your Afternoon Lull
Make an effort to make your lunch time special. After all, it is a break. Use that time for yourself and prepare a lunch that you can look forward to! Accompany your lunch with our 12:00 PM tea, a peachy oolong that is delicious hot, but even better iced. Looking to go all out for your lunch break? Brew 12:00 PM before you leave work each day and use it to make ice cubes for your iced tea the next day! That way, the yummy peach flavor won’t be diluted.
After you enjoy your lunch, you might be hit with the afternoon sleepies. Everybody feels them and they can totally cramp your productivity. Brew our last caffeinated Time Collection selection, 3:00 PM, to give yourself a boost. Just like 9:00 AM, this blend has a bit of citrus to it, but it also has grassy notes to pick you up.
Relax at Home
Kick back as soon as you get home with our 6:00 PM blend. Inviting chamomile plays with floral fragrances in this warm and cozy tisane. Subtle notes of liquor and spice make this tea a great alternative to a post-work libation and the caffeine-free nature of this tisane will help you wind your day down. Finish your day off with 9:00 PM, a flavorful tea that can easily replace a dessert. Sip this tisane and toggle off your mind. Allow for the sweet flavors of mint and rooibos sweep you away to a restful state.
Even if you don’t follow this schedule exactly, or if you only choose to drink one or two of the Time Collection, you can still use the tea drinking process as a way to get away from the hustle and bustle, de-stress, and get in tune with yourself.
