St. Patrick’s Day is this Friday. While you could swing by a pub for an artificially-colored green beer, we recommend taking things up a notch this year. Invite over friends or just practice shaking cocktails for yourself and whip up a vibrant green cocktail that’s delicious and nutritious. Well, kind of.
Matcha as a Mixer
Using Matcha as a base for a cocktail has its benefits. Not only are you ingesting more antioxidants and catechins than you would with a beer or other mixer, but you’re getting a slight boost of energy. Who needs vodka Red Bulls with a drop of greed food coloring when you have naturally green and caffeinated Matcha!
The Matcha Melonball can be your go-to St. Patrick’s Day libation. With Matcha, Midori, and Vodka, this drink packs a punch. Add in creamy coconut milk and white creme de cacao, and this cocktail is sure to be a hit at your St. Patrick’s Day shindig.
